I’m a 3D Character Animator with over 15 years of experience bringing characters to life for games, films, TV, and commercials. I specialize in performance-driven animation, body mechanics, gameplay motion, and motion-capture cleanup, always focusing on strong acting and clear storytelling.

I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to projects connected with Disney and Nu Bank, working with international teams and production pipelines. I collaborate with global clients to deliver reliable, high-quality animation using Maya, Blender, Unreal Engine, and other industry tools.

Course Module

This course is taught by a senior 3D Character Animator with 15+ years of experience in games, films, and commercials. You’ll learn performance-driven animation, body mechanics, and gameplay motion using professional workflows in Maya, Blender, and Unreal Engine.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to create production-ready character animations for games and cinematic projects

Module 1: Concept & Reference Gathering
Collect visual references to define your character’s look, proportions, and personality for a consistent design direction.

Module 2: High Poly Sculpting (ZBrush)
Sculpt detailed anatomy, clothing, and accessories in high resolution focusing on realistic forms and fine surface details.

Module 3: Retopology (Maya/Topogun)
Rebuild a clean, low-poly mesh with proper edge flow for animation and optimized performance.

Module 4: UV Mapping (Maya)
Unwrap the 3D model into efficient 2D UV layouts to prepare for detailed texturing.

Module 5: Baking Maps (Substance/Marmoset)
Bake high-poly details like normals and AO maps onto the low-poly model for realistic depth and texture.

Module 6: Texturing (Substance Painter)
Paint stylized or realistic materials, adding color, roughness, and surface wear for visual richness.

Module 7: Lighting & Rendering (Marmoset/Blender)
Set up lighting and render scenes to showcase the final sculpt with professional presentation quality.

Module 08: Perform Animation Acting
In this module we will help you learn how to perform animation acting and take proper references helps create realistic and emotionally convincing character performances. We will also animate basic exercises like the bouncing ball series and pendulum while using the graph editor.
