Md. Abu Oalid Siddiqui is a stop-motion animator and filmmaker currently working at Ogopogo Studio.
With academic training in Film & Media Studies and hands-on studio experience, he specializes in story development, storyboarding, lighting, and animation production.

As an instructor, he focuses on practical, hands-on learning.
He guides students through the complete stop-motion production process from concept to final output.

Course Module

Learn how to move around objects, miniatures and real puppets to create the magic of motion and life. Train with a professional stop-motion animator who will teach you the techniques to make your own content and film. Top-performing students from this course will be offered internships and potential job placements at Mayapur Studios or Ogopogo Studios.

Module 1: Introduction to Stop Motion Art

Explore the history, tools, and emotional magic of stop motion by creating your first paper cutout animation.

Module 2: Storytelling & Concept Development

Learn to craft compelling short stories, visualize emotions, and build storyboards for frame-based storytelling.

Module 3: Character & Puppet Design

Design and construct a functional stop-motion puppet with balanced armature, sculpted features, and costume detailing.

Module 4: Set & Prop Fabrication

Build miniature worlds with textured sets, expressive props, and cinematic lighting design for storytelling.

Module 5: Animation Techniques & Camera Setup

Animate expressive performances frame by frame, mastering movement, timing, and dynamic camera setups.

Module 6: Cinematic Lighting & Visual Mood

Use lighting, color temperature, and gels to create atmospheric, emotionally rich miniature scenes.

Module 7: Post-Production & Editing

Edit, color-correct, and sound-design your stop motion sequence for a polished final presentation.

Module 8: Final Project – “From Concept to Screen”

Produce a complete short film from concept to final cut, guided through feedback and refinement.

Bonus Module (Optional): Professional Practice

Prepare for real-world opportunities by building a showreel, understanding studio workflows, and developing your creative brand.
